Job Summary

The PreK Instructional Coach will enhance kindergarten readiness and early literacy by providing coaching and curriculum support for early childhood classrooms. This role ensures that PreK teachers implement evidence-based instructional practices with fidelity fostering student growth and readiness for kindergarten.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Extensive knowledge of early childhood education child development Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines and evidence-based instructional practices.
  • Knowledge of state and federal Pre-K compliance requirements including attendance enrollment assessment reporting and program monitoring expectations.
  • Experience using CLI Engage and other data systems to monitor compliance analyze student and program data and support instructional decision-making.
  • Strong instructional coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to support teachers and Directors in improving instructional practices and program quality.
  • Ability to design facilitate and deliver professional development training sessions and meetings for educators and administrators.
  • Strong leadership collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with teachers directors ResponsiveEd personnel and regional stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to develop reports stakeholder communications presentations and training materials.
  • Strong organizational project management and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities deadlines and regional initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze data identify trends develop action plans and implement continuous improvement strategies to improve program outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Education or a related field required;
  • Three to five years of experience in Pre-K or early childhood education including instructional coaching leadership compliance monitoring or professional development experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support on-site directors in meeting all federal state district and program compliance requirements including but not limited to CLI Engage implementation attendance monitoring enrollment tracking child outcomes documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Provide ongoing instructional coaching and support to teachers and campus leaders to strengthen instructional practices classroom management curriculum implementation and student outcomes.
  • Design facilitate and deliver professional development opportunities for teachers and Directors including region-wide Pre-K specific training aligned with program goals and compliance expectations.
  • Monitor analyze and support the use of CLI Engage data to ensure compliance with assessment requirements and to inform instructional decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with teachers and directors to develop action plans based on assessment data classroom observations and student performance trends.
  • Conduct regular site visits to provide technical assistance instructional feedback and support for continuous program improvement.
  • Facilitate monthly director meetings and stakeholder forums to communicate program updates upcoming deadlines compliance requirements best practices and available resources.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly communication system for stakeholders that includes program updates compliance reminders instructional resources success stories and important upcoming dates.
  • Coordinate with ResponsiveED departments and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are met consistently across assigned regions.
  • Serve as a liaison between campuses district leadership and regional partners to ensure clear communication and alignment of Pre-K initiatives.
  • Monitor program implementation fidelity and provide recommendations for improvement based on observations data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support enrollment and attendance initiatives by identifying trends addressing concerns and collaborating with campus leaders to improve student participation.
  • Maintain accurate records reports and documentation related to compliance monitoring coaching activities professional development and program outcomes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of regional Pre-K initiatives strategic goals and continuous improvement plans.
  • Stay current on Pre-K regulations instructional best practices and state requirements to provide timely guidance and support to campuses and stakeholders.
