Camp Fire Alaska Pre-K Staff

Through play exploration and positive relationships youll help bring Camp Fires Promise to life by giving every child the opportunity to find their spark lift their voice and discover who they are.
- Pre-K Afterschool Program (August - May) Monday - Friday 11:30am - 6:00pm
Pay: $19.12/hour
Location: Susitna Elementary
Position:
Pre-K Staff:Work between 32 - 35 hours per week (average) delivering quality programming and actively supervising preschool age youth.
6.5 hours daily of site time up to 1 additional hours daily for activity planning meetings and trainings (times vary)
- Requirements
- Age requirement: 18 years-old.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children in childcare youth development recreation camps or similar setting ; preschool age preferred.
- Ability to transport self to work and to the Camp Fire office for trainings ability to work at multiple sites preferred.
- Preferred -
- Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
- Knowledge of behavior management activity facilitation and ages and stages of youth development.
Required Certifications:(all paid for and provided by Camp Fire after hire):
Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED & First Aid
Food Worker Card
Mandated Reporter training certificate
Health & Safety certificate
