Position Summary:
Addressing PatientScheduling andEligibility Functions for Referring Physician Offices
Responsibilitiesinclude Schedulinghandling incoming calls utilizing the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Advising Referring Offices of Exam Requirements
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of scheduling procedures paperwork processing requirements and various insurance coverages
Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of authorization and eligibility practices medicalterminologyand paperwork processing requirements. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-9 coding.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to keyboard proficiently

COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS
The hourly rate for this position is $16.00.
