What you bring to SBHG:

  • Currently enrolled in a masters program focused in the field of Mental Health
  • Valid California Driver License

How you will make a difference:

This role is primarily one of students where the Practicum Student is in close contact with the Clinical Supervisor in all facets of the position. The Practicum Student has responsibility to both their university and the practicum site per their individual learning agreement. Under the guidance of the Clinical Supervisor this position has responsibility for mental health and case management services to adults children adolescents and their families experience.

Program: Centers provide outpatient mental health services to children and their families.

Population Served: Working with children of all ages at home at school and in the community

Facility & Setting: Centers at home at school and in the community

Clinical Services: Individual therapy Group therapy Family counseling Medication management and support
