Job Summary
Position Title: Power and Recovery Maintenance PlannerPay Rate: $92700 - $113300Multiple factors including Individual experience skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay Salaried Full-Time The Job You Will Perform: Responsible for developing safe comprehensive job plans for Power & Recovery mechanical work including both daily and shutdown related activitiesPerform as a key member of the maintenance leadership team and share responsibility for guiding and shaping the direction of the high performance teamPartner with Area Process Managers Operations Maintenance Coordinator and Front Line Leaders to ensure efficient prioritization planning and coordination of maintenance workReport to the Area Maintenance Planning Manager and work closely with the Mechanical FLL to deliver comprehensive job plans that maximize the teams effectiveness at safely executing the right work at the right time while meeting our high quality standardsScope bid and award contractor work that is both safe and effectiveManages the area Work Order backlogProvides planned Work Order packets for maintenance Team Members Maintains a pre-planned two week work order backlogOrders and secures parts and materials for planned and unplanned workSchedules maintenance work a minimum of one week in advanceEnsures work orders are technically complete and properly closed in the systemResponsible for equipment documentation and routing regulatory maintenance documentation to the responsible personAttends and participates daily in MWS meetings Occasionally backfill for the Area Maintenance FLLContinuously look for the most effective solutions that deliver safe and reliable resultsOrders and secures parts and materials for planned and unplanned workAbout You: Knowledge Skills and Abilities: High School diploma is required. Associates or Bachelors degree in maintenance or engineering disciplines is preferredMinimum of 3 years work experience in the paper industry or heavy manufacturing Minimum of 3-5 years experience planning maintenance in the paper industry preferredProgressive experience managing maintenance and planning in CMMS systems (such as SAP) preferredExperience in boiler and caustic plant areas is a plusJourneyman Mechanic experience is a plusPrior experience managing reliability initiatives in preventative maintenance inspections lubrication inspections vibration analysis etc. is a plusStrong skills demonstrated in leadership engagement and safety management systems Ability to read schematics and technical documentsAbout Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF):Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
