Position: Power BI Developer (Hybrid)

Location: New Brunswick NJ (Local Only)

Duration : 6 months (with extension)

Note :: Must be local Candidate and willing to go onsite works and interview will be onsite.

Job Description:

1. Work with technical product owner and subject matter expert to convert current technical requirements from Visier to Power BI solution
2. Translate existing functional and technical requirements into fully developed Power BI reports dashboards and visualizations.
3. Build report solutions that align to defined business logic data definitions and user experience expectations.
4. Develop test and validate Power BI reports to ensure accuracy performance and usability.
5. Work with source data from multiple systems and transform data as needed to support reporting requirements.
6. Ensure reports are intuitive visually effective and suitable for business and leadership audiences.
7. Partner with functional and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements resolve issues and finalize report designs.
8. Troubleshoot report defects performance issues and data discrepancies during development and testing.
9. Document report logic assumptions calculations and technical design as needed.
10. Required experience with Power BI report and dashboard development in enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Experience supporting HR and enterprise reporting initiatives
2. Knowledge of the Visier platform is nice to have but not required.
3. Familiarity with report security workspace management and scheduled refresh in the Power BI Service.
4. Experience working in a matrixed corporate environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
5. Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
