Powder Painter 2nd Shift (West Bend)

Position: Powder Painter
Job Location: West Bend WI

Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift): MondayFriday 1:30 PM10:00 PM
Starting Pay: $17$22 per hour depending on experience

Summary
Reporting to the Paint Supervisor the Powder Painter is primarily responsible for applying powder paint on production parts. Must have powder application knowledge. May be required to help in other production operations within the department. Must be able to perform all tasks of the Paint Tech 3 position. Good housekeeping and organizational skills are an essential part of this role. This position is highly technical and strong teamwork skills are needed.

Responsibilities
Apply powder using manual powder gun application
Troubleshoot powder application issues
Clean powder equipment for color changes
Perform color changes on automatic powder application equipment
Follow direction of the powder room coordinator on how to apply powder in certain areas of parts

Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a team and coordinate with other departments
Ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently
Knowledge of basic print reading and torque values
Two years of experience with powder application unless promoted within the department
Basic computer knowledge
High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
Detail-oriented with strong self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task
Must be able to help in all areas of the paint department when needed
