Powder CoaterJob Type: Temp to HirePay: minimum $20 an hour (Dependent on Experience)Hours: Monday Thursday 3:15pm 1:45am (Train on First shift)Job Summary The Powder Coater plays a key role in producing high-quality precision-finished products in a fast-paced shop environment. This position is 90-day temporary to permanent and works alongside experienced dependable team members. Training will be provided to learn powder coating processes on both conveyor lines and batch booths. Applicants must complete a print test and manual powder coating (non-automated) on conveyor systemsTape/mask parts using heat-resistant tape; plug and cap components as requiredUse an Exacto knife and demonstrate fine tactile skillsLoad and unload parts from conveyor linesFollow detailed instructions and retain process knowledgeRead and interpret prints and schematicsMaintain high attention to detail to ensure defect-free productsAssist various departments as needed based on production needsParticipate in cross-training across the shopMaintain a clean safe and organized work areaUphold fast-paced job shop standards and meet physical demands of the roleQualifications Experience: 2 Years of powder coating experience preferably manual spraying on a conveyor systemEducation: High school diploma or equivalent Skills: Ability to read or learn to read blueprints/schematicsFamiliarity with hand tools; ISO knowledge helpfulPhysical Requirements: Ability tolift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand bend squat reach pull and push throughout the attendance and ability to meet physical demands of the Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to team-oriented and proactive in Requirements: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
