Job Summary
The Postdoctoral Scholar studies lipid/toluene modulation of ion channels that control the cerebrovasculature in rodents and non-human primates (baboons).
Responsibilities
Document proficiency (i.e. doctoral thesis or peer-reviewed original research article publication as first author) in ex vivo pressurization of cerebral arteries from rat mouse and non-human primates cranial window surgery in rodents.
Perform hands-on experience with miniscope installation in mouse.
Research methodologies and single-channel resolution electrophysiology
Qualifications
EDUCATION:Ph.D. in Pharmacology Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:Entry-level position. Must have Doppler ultrasound imaging in vivo and confocal microscopy is required.
