| Position Highlights | The lab of Janko Nikolich is seeking multiple highly motivated candidates for full-time positions as Postdoctoral Research Associates. Candidates will study aging and late-life homeostasis of the immune system with special attention to secondary lymphoid organ aging and the involvement of cellular stress stromal cell dysregulation and mitochondrial dysfunction. Other projects may involve studying the impact of coinfection and lifelong persistent infection on immune and overall health in mouse and human models. Strong cellular immunology training is essential for this position; background in stromal cocultures with T cells is advantageous. The successful postdoctoral applicants are expected to work independently and be productive and collaborative with other team members. The postdoctoral candidates will benefit from interaction within the diverse interdisciplinary environment at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix.
