• Precisely hand-snipping undesirable fan leaves while maintaining quality assurance of each trimmed bud.
• Removing dried buds from the stems (bucking the plant).
• Sorting and grading buds into categories such as A-quality popcorn/pre-roll or B-quality and C-quality or lab grade.
• Operating and maintaining the departments equipment as needed.
• Bucking freshly harvested plant for fresh frozen extracts.
• Destruction of unusable plant waste products such as stems or leaves.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all post process bins tools and equipment.
• Regular workstation cleaning using rubbing alcohol.
• Assist management with training new hires.
• Wearing PPE/uniform at all times when working.
• Maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure the highest safety standards for fellow employees products and the facility.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge on state and local laws pertaining to adult-use marijuana and dispensing adult-use marijuana.
• Follows established LRP policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts policies and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma GED or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• Previous Massachusetts cannabis industry experience preferred.

• Manufacturing work environment possibility of loud machinery noises.
• Must have the ability to perform work related activities for up to 8 hours a day including repetitive motions and use of hands. Work activities may include use of scissor tools hands wrists and arms in a repetitive/continuous motion.
• This job function may include walking or standing for extended periods of time as well as stooping bending over and/or crouching.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Knowledge of cannabis plant.
• Knowledge & understanding of state and local cannabis laws and how they apply to the operations of Lazy River Products.
