Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow serves as an independent researcher or collaborator on a research program. This role may lead discrete components of a larger project under the general direction of the Principal Investigator and is responsible for experimental design data interpretation manuscript preparation and dissemination of results.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications/Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant discipline.
Demonstrated research experience in a field relevant to the laboratorys program.
Strong record of productivity in experimental research analysis and scientific communication.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Design plan and execute research experiments aligned with laboratory objectives.
Analyze interpret and present research data.
Develop or refine methodologies assays and experimental workflows.
Mentor trainees and assist with training when appropriate.
Prepare abstracts manuscripts reports and grant-related materials.
Maintain detailed research documentation and ensure data integrity.
Contribute to project planning timelines milestones and collaboration.
Participate in lab meetings seminars and scientific presentations.

2. Analyze and interpret experimental data; prepare manuscripts abstracts presentations progress reports and contribute to grant applications and scientific publications 20%
3. Develop and implement new methodologies mentor graduate students research assistants and trainees and provide technical guidance on laboratory procedures and research activities 15%
4. Participate in laboratory meetings scientific seminars collaborative projects compliance activities and perform other research-related duties as assigned 10%
