Maintenance Porter/Maintenance Worker - Residential Community

We are seeking a dependable hardworking Maintenance Porter/Maintenance Worker to join our team at a luxury residential community in Franklin Park. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for our residents and guests.

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all common areas including hallways lobbies stairwells fitness centers clubhouses and leasing offices.
• Keep building entrances sidewalks parking lots and grounds clean and free of debris.
• Assist with trash and recycling collection and ensure dumpsters and compactor areas remain clean and organized.
• Perform light maintenance tasks including changing light bulbs replacing air filters painting touch-ups and minor repairs.
• Assist the maintenance team with apartment turnovers repairs and general property upkeep.
• Report maintenance issues safety hazards or property damage to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Deliver excellent customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with residents and vendors.

• Previous porter janitorial groundskeeping or maintenance experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Must be willing to be on-call on weekends on a rotating basis.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds bending climbing stairs and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid drivers license.
