Porter Part-Time

Schedule: Part-Time. Days and Hours Vary. Weekends and Holidays may be required. 

In this position your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the internal cleanliness of the community including high dusting and cleaning of light fixtures cleaning behind appliances
• Exterior related tasks such as pressure washing landscaping / hardscaping as needed
• Scrubbing/mopping hard floor surfaces and cleaning carpeted surfaces 
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste
• Keeping the trash rooms clean
• Assist the operations team with removing items left behind in empty apartments
• Delivery of heavy objects/packages

Qualifications :

To be successful in this position we believe that you need the following experiences and skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read write speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment hard floor care equipment trash removal equipment ladders and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community. Previous experience in carpet and hard floor care is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
• Ability to be flexible and honor other requests from residents or departments that can be completed in the allotted time.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents in the event of an emergency.
