SUMMARY
Moves and cleans vehicles keeps the vehicles in sound working condition and helps general manager as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
âMaintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed and replacing batteries when necessary.
âPlaces buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
âKeeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
âCleans driveway and sidewalks removing snow and debris as necessary.
âDrives vehicles to and from service lane service stalls and parking lot as needed.
âMakes key tags for vehicles.
âPerforms other duties as assigned.
âOther duties may be assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
âEntry level position
âGood driving record
âHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
âAbility to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
âAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.
âAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
âAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.
âAbility to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
âAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
âAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
âAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

âWalking sitting standing stooping required to repair and drive automobiles SUVs vans pickup trucks etc.
âAbility to get in and out of vehicles on a frequent basis in conjunction with essential duties and for test drives with customers and other purposes related to the maintenance and repair of new and used vehicles.
âSitting to perform routine administrative tasks using fine motor skills to type using a keyboard and operate basic office equipment such as a telephone scanner/copy machine and calculator.
