Portables Support Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with inspection and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers and related equipment under direct supervision.

• Support senior technicians with service tasks including tagging documentation and basic compliance checks.

• Learn and follow NFPA standards company procedures and safety protocols.

• Transport tools materials and equipment to job sites.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed as directed.

• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while working in the field.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and needs.

• Perform work in commercial industrial and construction environments.

• Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.

• Travel to job sites as required.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• No minimum experience required.

• Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.

• Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.

• Must have a clean driving record and active drivers license (if driving role).

Other Duties:

• Adheres to the Code of Conduct Confidentiality Agreement and Company Safety Policy.

• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting carrying and climbing ladders.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Ability to work in various environments including commercial industrial and construction settings.

• Exposure to varying conditions including heights confined spaces and active job sites.

• Ability to stand walk bend and work for extended periods.
