Key Responsibilities:

• Learn to perform routine and complex sleep studies using a variety of diagnostic techniques and equipment.
• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Assess patients clinical status monitor progress toward goals and assist with sleep studies and CPAP operation.
• Accurately document and communicate patient results to support the plan of care.
• Explain procedures and therapeutic modalities to patients and families.
• Recognize critical situations apply appropriate judgment and troubleshoot equipment issues while seeking assistance when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma GED Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement required.
• Ability to complete an accredited polysomnographic training program.
• Must obtain the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential within one year of hire.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification or successful completion within one month of hire.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.11/hour - Maximum 27.37/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
