THE ROLE

Our client a rehabilitation medical centre is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist in Spokane WA. This is a full-time permanent direct-hire position responsible for assisting in the maintenance and restoration of patient cardiopulmonary function within a sleep diagnostics setting in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. The role requires the interpretation of operating procedures and clinical protocols across varying levels of complexity. A $10000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. Relocation assistance is available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform polysomnographic studies and sleep diagnostics procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Maintain and assist in restoring maximum cardiopulmonary functioning in patients of all ages
  • Interpret and apply operating procedures technical standards and protocols to problems of varying complexity
  • Exercise initiative in identifying and responding to patient care problem situations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of study findings and clinical observations

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

  • Completion of an ASTEP Program or equivalent education/experience in polysomnographic technology
  • One of the following credentials required: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) OR National Certified Polysomnographic Technician (BRPT) OR National Sleep Disorders Specialty (NBRC)
  • BLS/CPR certification (National Provider - American Heart Association)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Sleep Study Technology
