Job Summary
Location: Washington DC
Schedule:20-25 hours a week; between 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Position Type: Full-Time/Regular
- Conduct basic research and package findings.
- Assist with client requests for registration and reporting thresholds and gift rules.
- Draft memoranda as requested.
- Work on discrete projects as requested by senior attorneys.
- Attend meetings and calls with clients.
- Other support functions as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent two years of college preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the legislative process a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to work proactively and demonstrate initiative.
- Ability to work independently multi-task and prioritize among competing tasks under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to work in a team setting and collaborate with peers and superiors.
- Good judgment and a strong sense of responsibility integrity and loyalty.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client firm and office information and adhering to the Firms Core Values.
- Able to work overtime.
The hourly rate range for this position in Washington DC is $19.50 to $22.50.
