POLICY AND RESEARCH MANAGER EDUCATION INITIATIVES Blueprint Labs will be a team player and strategic thinker who implements and oversees multiple programs within the education team in conjunction with Blueprints leadership. The Policy and Research Manager supports ongoing education research projects including the AIin K-12 Schools Initiative and the Charter School Research Collaborative. Primary responsibilities include supporting policy outreach facilitating relationships with internal and external stakeholders and research management. Blueprint uses data and economics to uncover the consequences of policy decisions and improve society. Based in the Department of Economics at MIT Blueprint Labs consists of academic affiliates full-time staff and graduate researchers. Blueprint Labs works closely with leading academic government and nonprofit institutions across the country to generate pioneering research that informs policy and practice in education health care and the workforce.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Masters degree in economics public policy public administration business administration political science or a related field; a minimum of six years of relevant experience; and strong communication and people and project management skills. PREFERRED: Data management experience.

The Manager receives a full-time one-year appointment that is renewable annually contingent on funding and mutual agreement. An employment term of at least two years is strongly preferred.

This position begins as soon as possible in-person at Blueprints office in Cambridge MA.
