In this role within the Police Department you will assist in the coordination of multiple programs in support of the Towns mission to provide high-quality public services to a community that values limited government and provide support to others within the TRACE Unit. Qualifications

To be considered the Town requires:

  1. A bachelors degree in criminal justice business administration social sciences or related field from an accredited educational institution.
  2. One year of professional-level experience in one of the following areas: training background investigations accreditation wellness recruitment selection or retention.
  3. A combination of related post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
  4. Preferred: Prior experience in law enforcement as sworn officer.
  5. Possess and maintain a valid Arizona drivers license.
  6. Possess certification or have ability to become certified to access National Crime Information Center terminal (NCIC) and Arizona Criminal Justice Information System (ACJIS) systems and any other federally or state mandated requirements of this position upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
  7. Successful completion of a background investigation which includes a polygraph examination; employment driving personal references and criminal history checks; a psychological evaluation and a controlled substance screening.
