What Youll Do:
- Organize work operations from start to completion in the safest and most efficient manner to perform proper maintenance of utility poles
- Oversee 3-5-person pole crews while mentoring and training new employees
- Use personal protective equipment and maintain high levels of safety standards
- Investigate accidents and promptly record and report findings to management
- Properly maintain prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws chippers aerial lifts and more
- Every day there is something new to do!
What Were Seeking:
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA Training
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Required: valid drivers license
- Required: up to 100% travel
- Preferred: Commercial Drivers License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
- Preferred: pole test and treat experience or other related work
- Preferred: relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates if required by state law
- Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist ISA Certified Tree Worker and/or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional
