Job Summary
Job Title: P&O Generalist (HR Generalist)
Location: Shelton CT (Onsite)
Salary: $75000 - $80000 up to 10% Bonus
Travel: Up to 50% (Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement provided)
We are seeking a P&O Generalist to support employees and leaders across multiple locations. This role will serve as a trusted HR partner managing employee relations benefits administration compliance investigations reporting and day-to-day HR operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting blue-collar/hourly workforces within manufacturing logistics transportation warehouse or distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities - Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Manage employee relations issues workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
- Support benefits administration employee enrollments and employee benefit inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain HR records and support HR reporting and workforce analytics.
- Partner with leadership on performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Support recruitment onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Travel regularly to support multiple operational locations.
- 2 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
- Strong experience with employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Hands-on benefits administration experience.
- Knowledge of HR compliance employment laws FMLA ADA and related regulations.
- Experience supporting hourly warehouse manufacturing logistics transportation or field-service employees preferred.
- Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR reporting is a plus.
