As our Physiatrist (PM&R) you will join the physician-led team at Dignity Health Medical Group Dominican in beautiful Santa Cruz CA. As the sole practice in the area treating General Rehabilitation patients you will play a vital role in our patient-centered organization offering both office and hospital-based care. You will manage a mixed practice overseeing a 20-bed CARF-certified Acute Rehabilitation Unit and providing a bustling consult service. This role offers a collegial and autonomous environment working alongside well-respected physicians and APPs with dedicated Medical Assistant support and mentorship from established group members. Youll also have opportunities to precept advanced practice providers and future residents contributing to the education of the next generation of healthcare professionals. A balanced schedule awaits featuring a 1:5 hospital call rotation and a minimum of one week of inpatient service per month.
To be successful in this role you will be a motivated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician eager to lead the only general rehabilitation practice in the area. We are offering a 12-month Salary Guarantee of $325000 plus productivity incentives. You will also receive a sign-on bonus relocation assistance and a CME allowance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance a 401(k) with match and more.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility inPhysical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Active or eligible license in the state of California
- Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
