PMHNP to Join GeriatricNeuropsychiatry Team

Northern Light Acadia Hospital in Bangor Maine is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Mood and Memory Clinic that is part of Northern Light Memory and Aging an academically oriented outpatient program specializing in neuropsychiatry and geriatric psychiatry.

Position Highlights:

• Join a highly skilled team including a Geriatric Psychiatrist Neuropsychiatrist PMHNP experienced RNs and administrative support staff
• Practice in a teaching-focused environment with involvement in training medical students psychiatry residents and family medicine residents
• Participate in a program that is a member of the Alzheimers Network for Treatment and Diagnostics
• Opportunity to work with an anti-amyloid infusion program with advanced imaging access
• 4-day 32-hour workweek with every Monday off

Compensation Information:

• $99184.55-$104798.72 annual base salary.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available including but not limited to call pay leadership stipends etc.

Qualifications:

• Experience or strong interest in geriatric psychiatry and neuropsychiatry
• Ability to assess and manage complex presentations involving cognitive neuropsychiatric and behavioral health conditions
• Knowledge of neurodevelopmental psychosocial and medical factors impacting patient care
• Experience performing and interpreting standardized neurocognitive assessments preferred
