Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Pay Rate: $24- $25/hr.
Shifts available: 2nd (4:30PM) applicants must be available to work 12 hour shifts.

Main Purpose of the Job: The Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in driving productivity quality safety and engagement within a manufacturing environment. This position partners closely with frontline employees team leads and supervisors to improve performance reinforce standard work and promote a positive accountable culture on the production floor.
This is a hands-on floor-based role focused on supervising daily operations coaching employee performance and ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Team Supervision
- Supervise hourly employees to ensure productivity quality safety attendance and work habits meet expectations.
- Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Reinforce performance expectations and standard operating procedures.
- Observe work behaviors and provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback.
- Address performance concerns and support employees in overcoming performance barriers.
Leadership & Employee Development
- Partner with team leads and management to drive employee performance and accountability.
- Model effective leadership and coaching techniques.
- Support performance improvement plans and follow-up actions.
- Assist with onboarding and development of new employees.
- Foster a positive inclusive and respectful work environment.
Safety & Quality
- Reinforce safe work behaviors and compliance with safety procedures.
- Promote accountability for quality standards and defect reduction.
- Encourage reporting of issues near misses and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure employees follow GMP food safety and sanitation requirements.
Operations Support
- Monitor production metrics and support efforts to achieve operational goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to ensure smooth operations and employee engagement.
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse or industrial environment.
- Previous supervisory lead or team leadership experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods.
Preferred
- Experience in performance improvement operations support workforce coaching or supervisory roles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs and production metrics.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Bilingual (based on workforce needs).
