Job Summary
Plumber 1 is an entry-level position. The ideal plumber should have a basic understanding of plumbing systems and a willingness to learn and grow in the field. A Plumber I will assist in the installation repair and maintenance of plumbing systems under the supervision of more experienced plumbers.
Responsibilities
Assist in the installation repair and maintenance of plumbing systems including pipes fixtures and fittings.
Help inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform basic repairs.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints and building specifications for plumbing layouts.
Support senior plumbers in collaborating with contractors electricians and other construction professionals.
Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems.
Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide support as needed.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Qualifications
