PLT Production Coordinator

Job Summary
The PLT Production Coordinator will:
Be responsible for the generation of a sequence that ultimately leads to maximum throughput and is executable by Production. In addition to the creation of efficient supply machine schedules a primary responsibility is shop floor coordination with production to insure that bottleneck issues are resolved in a proactive manner. Daily reporting of goals versus results is expected.
- Write and make available machine schedules to shop floor.
- Provide build out tracking information to area of responsibility.
- Understand plant constraints (build rates machine rates etc.) and apply that knowledge to the weekly schedule. Maintain planning database to manage these constraints.
- Minimize the number of changeovers if it does not negatively affect throughput.
- Monitor and report shiftly performance to plan.
- Communicate production schedule and schedule changes.
- Manage the work in process inventory thru better scheduling.
- Work with the production to ensure correct requirements are being ordered.
- Follow all plant policies environmental policies and plant and departmental safety policies.
- Perform special projects as assigned by the Sequencing Manager.
- Ensure all ESH procedures policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years or more of Relevant Experience

- SAP Experience

- New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends.
- The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.

The starting annual salary for this role is $70664 a year.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations
