What You Will Do
- Design and implement data pipelines using Python and Airflow to optimize data flow and processing.
- Develop user-facing features with React and TypeScript to enhance the platforms functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Utilize AWS services to deploy and scale applications ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to improve overall system efficiency.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain best practices in software development.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 58 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies particularly React and TypeScript.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud services particularly AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
- Familiarity with financial services or enterprise data solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of additional data processing frameworks or tools.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $170K to $220K complemented by equity ranging from 0.5% to 0.8%. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company that values innovation and offers a collaborative work environment.
