Job Summary
Are you a forward-thinking technologist ready to make a lasting impact Join our dynamic team at Fidelity Investments where the Fidelity Architecture and Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineer for our Engineering Experience team.
Experience building developer platforms internal tooling or marketplaces at enterprise scale
Experience with IDEs (VS Code or similar) and extension/plugin ecosystems
Experience with application installation and deployment solutions for Windows/macOS platforms
Designing secure highavailability distributed systems and APIs
Working across organizational boundaries to deliver platform capabilities used by diverse engineering teams
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) along with solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
Knowledge of designing developing and deploying applications following established patterns and best practices
Experience leveraging DevAssist tools such as GitHub Copilot and Gemini Code Assist to optimize development workflows
Experience working with the open source community
Cloud Certifications in AWS Azure Kubernetes or similar

Fidelitys Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
