Platform Architect

Job Summary
The Platform Architect is the primary internal-facing architect responsible for the technical integrity scalability and reliability of the core WDP infrastructure itself. This person will own the platforms technical roadmap focusing on non-functional requirements such as performance high availability and disaster recovery. They will lead the design and evolution of the WDPs cloud infrastructure containerization strategy (e.g. Kubernetes) CI/CD pipelines and core platform services. The Platform Architect ensures that the underlying foundation of the WDP is robust efficient and capable of supporting the diverse and growing number of solutions being built upon it.
Requirements
- SECRET Security Clearance Required
- Cloud GICSP GSEC Security or SSCP cerification (for Junior / Journeyman roles)
- SecurityX/CASPCCNP Security CCSPFITSP-O or GFACT certification (for Senior role)
- We are actively seeking multiple levels:
- Junior: 0 - 3 years of experience Bachelors Degree
- Journeyman: 4 - 7 years of experience Bachelors Degree
- Senior: 8 years of experience Bachelors Degree
- Good communication skills self-starter mindset.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment:
- Moderate noise ( office with computersphoneand printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

- Salary at Avalore is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combinaition of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
- Salary estimates for this job range from $107000 - $220000.
