The Role
The Plant Quality Engineer IIis responsible fordriving manufacturing quality improvements reducing process variation leading root cause investigations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across vehicle manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with Manufacturing Manufacturing Engineering Product Engineering Supplier Quality and Operations teams toidentifyquality risks implement sustainable corrective actions and improve manufacturing process capability.

What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Electrical Engineering Quality Engineering or another STEM discipline.
- 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Quality Process Quality Product Quality Supplier Quality Launch Quality or Quality Engineering.
- Experience conducting root cause investigations within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools including APQP PPAP PFMEA Control Plans SPC and MSA.
- Experience analyzing processcapabilitymetrics control charts defect trends and manufacturing quality data.
- Proficiencyutilizing 8D 5 Why Fishbone Analysis and DMAIC methodologies.
- Ability to read write speak and understand English sufficiently to perform the essential duties of the position including understanding work instructions safety procedures and job-related communications.
Preferred
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Electric vehicle manufacturing experience.
- Experience supporting vehicle assembly operations.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Minitab experience.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
Work Requirement
This role is basedonsiteat Lucids Advanced Manufacturing Plant (AMP-1) in Casa Grande Arizona.
Compensation and Benefits
