Plant Operator Earthmoving Equipment Leading Hand

• Excellent hourly rate
• Mon to Fri AFTERNOON SHIFT 1pm start potential OT and weekend work
• Full-time Permanent role Deer Park Landfill

The Opportunity

• Operate machinery such as dozers compactors excavators and moxys
• Perform tip face operations including waste placement and compaction
• Support and coordinate afternoon shift activities
• Assist in ensuring all operations meet safety environmental and compliance standards
• Provide on-the-job leadership support and direction to operators
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain productivity and safety

About You

• A valid plant operator ticket or equivalent competency of at least two-three of the above (VOC RII etc.)
• Proven experience operating dozers compactors excavators and moxy trucks
• Good understanding of safety and environmental compliance in a landfill or earthworks setting
• A level-headed safety-focused approach
• Natural leadership qualities with the ability to guide and support others
• Looking to step up into a Leading Hand role
• Flexible to work occasional overtime and weekends
