Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates all in plant activity following principles and procedures established by company.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials machines and employees.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement maintenance and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of employee resources machines and equipment.
• Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
• Revises production schedules and priorities as result of staffing procurement or equipment failure.
• Consults with manufacturing engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment to improve production and quality of products.
• Communicate production issues to appropriate departments.
• Provides reports and data of production to management as requested.
• Recommend budgets to management.
• Regularly converse with all production employees to promote engagement and retention. Applies to all production mgmt. levels.
• Know observe and enforce all general safety rules and such special instructions that are designated for their plant.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage supervisors and staff in Plant Operations.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelors degree from four-year college or university preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment including being physically capable of maneuvering throughout work area product and equipment.
