ROLE OVERVIEW:

To perform necessary maintenance on Ready Mix Plants throughout North Dakota. Overnight travel is required.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)

  1. Oversees the maintenance of all Ready Mix plant and equipment including the setup of new or temporary plant operations.
  2. Plans and coordinates schedule of preventative maintenance.
  3. Maintains inventory of parts and equipment and requisitions replacement stock.
  4. Estimates costs of personnel parts and supplies to be used during maintenance.
  5. To keep equipment running and maintained properly to maximize production and quality.
  6. Communicate effectively (verbal listening written); Self-motivated team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
  7. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality equipment operation/repair etc.).
  8. Ensure MSHA OSHA EPA DNR safety and environmental regulation compliance Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  9. Back-up plant operator and performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational experience or other relevant job requirements)

  1. High School or GED plus higher trade or technical school or equivalent in related field
  2. 5 years mechanical and electrical experience
  3. Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure medical card and acceptable driving record.
