Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental health and safety (EHS) programs across multiple facilities.
• Conduct routine safety inspections audits and workplace hazard assessments.
• Develop implement and maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate employee safety orientation and ongoing training programs.
• Investigate incidents injuries near misses and property damage to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Manage programs including:
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Fall Protection
  • Forklift and Heavy Equipment Safety
  • Hot Work & Welding Safety
  • Hazard Communication
  • Fire Prevention and Emergency Response
  • PPE Compliance
• Maintain emergency response and evacuation plans..
• Maintain required safety documentation permits and records.
• Track safety metrics training completion and corrective actions.
• Partner with facility leadership to continuously improve workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety Environmental Health & Safety or a related field.
• 57 years of safety management experience in industrial manufacturing recycling waste or heavy equipment environments.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety standards.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant safety certifications preferred.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and safety audits.
• Experience developing and delivering engaging employee safety training.
• Excellent communication leadership organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
• Valid WI drivers license.
