Plant Engineer

Piping Rock Health Products is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Plant Engineerto join our Ohio-based Manufacturing this role youll work closely with the VP of Engineering and plant leadership to ensure operational efficiency and equipment reliability across the facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for an engineering professional with a strong mechanical background a passion for process improvement and the ability to thrive in a dynamic production :Monitor maintain and troubleshoot all plant equipment (e.g. HVAC boilers compressors) for optimal performance and uptimeCollaborate with the Plant Manager and department supervisors to drive efficiency across operationsDevelop procedures and preventive maintenance tasks with maintenance teams for all site equipmentEnsure all preventive maintenance (PM) work orders are completed accurately and on timeIdentify opportunities to enhance plant performance and recommend process improvementsTrain plant personnel on safety protocols and quality control (QC) compliance proceduresReview project plans and timelines; monitor budgets and offer recommendationsAdapt plans as necessary by interpreting developments and providing clear directionEnsure compliance with FDA GMP SOP and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulationsAnalyze work order data and machine downtime trends to improve equipment uptimeConduct facility safety audits and verify machinery meets safety standardsSupport operational plans for renovation construction maintenance and machine installation projectsPerform other engineering-related duties and special projects as assignedRequirements:Bachelors degree in Mechanical EngineeringUp to 4 years of related engineering or plant maintenance experienceProficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to create technical drawingsHands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with maintenance tracking software and systemsStrong quantitative and analytical skillsExcellent communication organization and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projectsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable in a production settingWe proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 7 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
