Pay: $110000-$130000 depending upon experienceLocation: 1005 Commercial Drive Owensville MO Benefits: Competitive benefits including 401k match and Incentive BonusHow you will make an impact:You will lead all plant -level accounting financial reporting and analysis activities to support strategic business decision-making and will be a key business partner to plant leadership and VP of Manufacturing with accountability for financial performance compliance and continuous improvement activities. What Youll Do:Lead all plant accounting and financial reporting activities with accuracy timeliness and compliance with corporate and regulatory guidanceOwn the monthly close process including journal entries reconciliation and variance analysisPrepare and analyze financial results including P&L variances to forecast budget and prior year communicating insights to managementCoordinate annual budget and periodic forecasts and serve as a key contributor to strategic and capital planning activitiesPartner with plant and operations leadership to evaluate productivity cost reduction and working capital initiativesLead capital expenditure inventory and cost accounting activitiesContinuously improve processes and coach and develop finance staffWhat You Bring:Bachelors degree in finance or accounting required; CPA and/or MBA preferred7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment including cost accounting and financial reportingDemonstrated experience with budgeting forecasting inventory valuation and capital analysisStrong working knowledge of internal controls and financial compliance requirementsProven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into actionable business insightsExperience partnering with operations or manufacturing leadership is preferredProficiency with ERP and financial reporting systems; Microsoft Dynamics and Essbase experience a plusAdvance skills in Microsoft Excel and related financial toolsStrong communication and leadership skillsLakeside Book Company What Makes Us Special:Our focus on Safety Stewardship Inclusivity and Environmental Sustainability give so many of our employees pride in the work we do within the communities we inhabit.
