Project Overview:
Bechtels Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay NY. M&T is an exciting and growing business unit that serves customers in the semiconductor datacenter life sciences and electric vehicle markets. M&T strives to exceed our customer objectives through utilizing our agility innovative technologies and world class talent. M&T solves the industrys toughest challenges building both our company and the world for the future. Headquartered in Reston Virginia the M&T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona Ohio Texas India and additional project locations around the world.
Job Summary:
In this role you will perform cost estimating analysis control activities schedule development maintenance reporting monitoring activities and oversee the upkeep of the detailed project risk register. You will assist in preparing cost/schedule data for proposals and present at stakeholder meetings. Your work ensures projects stay on track on budget and ahead of the competition. #LI-SM2
Major Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent tools).
Support coordination with engineering procurement and construction teams to gather scope logic and activity information.
Assist with data entry updates and maintenance of schedule activities durations and logic relationships.
Support integration of subcontractor and vendor schedule information into the project schedule.
Track and update schedule progress based on input from the project team.
Assist in identifying potential schedule variances delays or inconsistencies.
Support preparation of short-term lookahead schedules (e.g. 3-week or rolling lookahead).
Assist with preparation of basic schedule reports and progress updates.
Perform schedule checks to help ensure data accuracy completeness and consistency.
Participate in schedule review meetings and support documentation of discussions and action items.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Basic understanding of planning and scheduling concepts with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and data written and verbal communication skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Willingness to learn EPC work processes including engineering procurement construction and startup.
Ability to follow direction manage assigned tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
