Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech. Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Planner/Buyer. In this position you will have full responsibility for the handling of the entire production flow of capacitors starting from the raw materials planning and purchasing all the way through production to delivering the final product to the consumer.
Job Location:
Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington VT and is the worlds number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.
What you will be doing:
- RM supply planning and controlling based on historical usage and coming demand (using BOM) considering
- Work to reach divisional inventory turns targets and avoid slow- moving/dead stock
- Purchase orders creation based on the price and terms agreements with the suppliers
- Constant follow-up of the orders with the suppliers and logistic services till the materials arrival at the plant
- Handling purchase orders pull in/ push out based on the demand fluctuations
- Efficient production line loading within all limitations during fulfilling customers demand
- Customers/production orders follow-up and adjustment based on the demand fluctuations
- Meet divisional KPI (CMP; PMP Inventory Turns)
- Inventory (WIPFGRM) control and management
- SAP Mysis Key User Responsibility
- Periodic report creation and distribution
- Handling RM and WIP for Eng evaluations
- Participation in the RM qualification projects
- Inventory (RMWIPFG) Obsolescence submission
What you will bring along:
- Microsoft Office Excel very high level
- 2-3 years of experience in planning logistics
- Experience in procurement is an advantage
- Experience in working with an international company an advantage
