As a Software Developer in Places Technology Services you will provide your technical expertise through hands-on development to ensure that the applications we build are set up for long-term success. Our Software Developers work with a cross-functional team of Program Managers Project Managers Business Analysts and other developers to holistically understand the needs of our business partners and empower them to be successful. You will need to be able to assess business requirements estimate delivery times and convert requirements into a technical development plan for applications that are in every stage of the application lifecycle. On a regular basis you will meet with your cross-functional team to track project progress - you will need to be able to communicate updates clearly to team members that are both technical and non-technical. You will need to identify risk and solve for issues as they arise to keep your projects on track.n

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern and integrate RESTful APIs using and responsive accessible user interfaces using frontend with product managers designers and engineers to implement new clean well-tested and maintainable in code reviews and contribute to team discussions on best and resolve technical issues across the stack.n

Bachelors degree in Computer science or related or equivalent years of experience. n3-5 years of experience building full-stack web proficiency in JavaScript and working with for backend with at least one modern frontend framework (React Vue or Svelte).nBasic understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.n

Experience with containerization tools such as to cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure).nFamiliarity with CI/CD of web accessibility principles and semantic with testing frameworks (Jest Cypress or similar).nFamiliarity with version control workflows using Git.
