Details:
Piping Designer
Location: Westwego LA
Duration: 12month contract assignment with conversion potential
Benefits: Medical Dental Vision 401k
Design & Development: Create detailed piping layouts isometrics and 3D models using AutoCAD software for process plants refineries and chemical facilities
Integration: Coordinate with process mechanical and structural engineers to ensure seamless integration of piping with other systems
Documentation: Prepare P&IDs bills of materials (BOM) technical specifications and operational guidelines
Field Coordination: Conduct site walkdowns verify designs and resolve routing conflicts with civil/structural disciplines
2 - 5 years of petrochemical experience
Experience in the field preferred
AutoCAD proficiency
Votech or ITT schooling preferred
