Job Summary
Primoris Pipeline & Engineering is currently seeking a Piping Designer. This role will receive direction from senior-level designers and/or engineers and works to complete assigned work on time within budget and in accordance with applicable codes client standards and guidelines. A minimum of 5 years experience working with piping design in the midstream oil & gas field is desired.
JOB DUTIES
Prepare detailed piping plans and drawings according to design or markups.
- Review completed designs for accuracy.
- Participate in inter-discipline and cross-discipline checks.
- Perform 3D piping layouts and equipment modeling.
- Prepare documents and drawings using AutoCAD CADWorx or other design programs.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
5-8 years of related design experience.
- Basic knowledge of materials
- Working knowledge of codes and standards reference documents and guides
- Very Strong knowledge of AutoCAD CADWorx Plant ISOGEN CADWorx P&ID and Microsoft Office products
- Detail-oriented and organized.
