Job Summary
Skillforce is hiring experienced pipe welders for an industrial maintenance project in Blytheville AR. This position is 40-50 hrs. a week and pay is up to $35 per hour based on skill set and experience. Pipe Welder/Fitter Responsibilities:
Performmainly stick weldingon stainless and carbon steel pipe (½12 diameter). Weld and fully fabricate piping systems using blueprints layout direction and precise measurement tools.
Support installation and repair projects including corrosion-resistant and thermoplastic/FRP systems as needed.
Work collaboratively on general contracting and routine industrial maintenance tasks.
Follow all OSHA safety regulations and uphold company safety standards.
Pipe Welder/Fitter Requirements:
3 years of industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
Stick /TIG welding experience (6G preferred; must pass a weld 6G test).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints P&IDs and isometric drawings.
Must be comfortable working at heights in confined spaces and in outdoor/industrial environments.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
