Pipe Foreman-Excavation

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of underground utility construction crew management equipment coordination and site safety practices.

• Supervise and lead pipe and utility crews on excavation and underground utility projects
• Coordinate daily work activities with Superintendents Project Managers and other field personnel
• Read and interpret blueprints utility plans grades and specifications
• Ensure proper installation of:
  • Storm sewer systems
  • Sanitary sewer systems
  • Water mains
  • Drainage structures
  • Underground utility systems
• Monitor trench safety shoring and OSHA compliance requirements
• Coordinate equipment materials subcontractors and manpower needs
• Perform daily jobsite planning and communicate production goals to crews
• Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards and project specifications
• Track daily production manpower and material usage
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce company safety policies
• Maintain professional communication with inspectors customers subcontractors and internal teams
• Assist with scheduling and sequencing of work to maintain project timelines
• Train and mentor crew members and equipment operators

• 5 years of experience in underground utility pipe or excavation construction
• Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of excavation grading and utility installation practices
• Ability to read construction drawings and grade stakes
• Knowledge of OSHA trench safety regulations
• Experience operating or working around heavy equipment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Valid drivers license required
• CDL preferred but not required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is desirable

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand walk climb bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work around heavy equipment and active construction zones
