Pipe Fitter Mutiple Openings

Urban Infraconstruction is seeking experienced Pipe fittersto join our growing team. This position is responsible for the installation assembly alignment and maintenance of piping systems civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of pipe materials and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Measure cut thread bevel fit and assemble piping systems.
• Align and secure pipes using hand tools power tools and construction equipment.
• Perform layout work and verify elevations grades and alignments.
• Assist with hydrostatic testing system inspections and startup activities.
• Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards quality concerns or project issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pipefitting experience in heavy civil water/wastewater industrial or utility construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience installing ductile iron steel HDPE PVC stainless steel or other industrial piping systems.
• Knowledge of pipe supports valves fittings and mechanical joints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
