Pillow Packer (Fullerton,CA)

THE ROLE

Avocado is currently looking for a Pillow Packer to be part of the Pillows Dept.

*Note on Location: Here at Avocado Green Brands we treasure teamwork and working together in person. Depending on the role you will be working on-site at one of our Fullerton locations.

*Note on Pay Transparency: The pay range for this role is $16.00 - $17.44 Hourly.

WHAT YOULL BE WORKING ON

• Load and unload pillows/pillow fill from machines conveyors and conveyances.

• Operate machinery used in the production/filling process or assist machine operators.

• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing inspecting or wrapping.

• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.

• Start machines or equipment to begin production processes.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Attention to detail

• Teamwork and communication skills.

• Follow company safety culture and Cal OSHA regulations.

• Report incident injury and hazard to managers.

• Able to identify work hazard situations.

• Following the company safety culture while performing the job duties required for the position.

• Regular and predictable attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to wear personal protective gear like safety glasses.

• Must be comfortable working in an environment with machinery noise.

• Stationary position:

  • Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.

• Movements:

  • Must be able to move throughout the warehouse to access different machines.

  • Must be able to frequently move material weighing up to 50 pounds.
