Job Summary
Silver Creek Valley Country Club located in San Jose CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Pilates Mat Group Exercise instructor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon youll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Position Highlights:
Teach Group Floor Mat Pilates 1 day per week
Monday Wednesday or Friday at 9am
Compensation: $55 - $60 per hour (hourly and commission combined)
Responsibilities:
Lead safe structured mat Pilates classes for mixed fitness levels
Demonstrate exercises clearly and offer modifications/regressions/progressions
Cue proper alignment breathing and control (core principles of Pilates)
Keep classes engaging paced well and on time
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience teaching mat Pilates classes in a studio gym or group fitness setting
Current Pilates certification from a recognized program (mat certification required; comprehensive certification a plus)
Strong understanding of Pilates principles (alignment core engagement breathwork control)
Current CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain before starting)
Excellent verbal cueing and communication skills
Ability to create safe engaging and well-structured class sequences
Reliable punctual and able to manage class flow independently
Comfortable working in a group fitness environment
