What You Will Do

• Lead the physics simulation team to develop and implement advanced modeling techniques using C/C and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency driving improvements in product offerings.
• Mentor and guide team members fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering department.
• Analyze complex data sets to derive insights that inform decision-making and product development.
• Oversee project timelines and deliverables ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 510 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field with a focus on simulation and modeling.
• Proficiency in C/C and Python with a strong understanding of software development best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and driving engineering projects to successful completion.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.

Preferred

• Experience in insurance AI or environmental technology sectors.
• Familiarity with simulation tools and frameworks relevant to physics modeling.
• A track record of working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $210K to $250K complemented by a meaningful equity grant offering significant potential for financial growth as the company continues to expand.
