Job Summary
Assist in the development and implementation of protocols for radiation dose specifications to meet national and state regulations;Responsible for routine implementation of quality assurance programs and dosimetric verification procedures for patients undergoing treatments;
Participate in installation and commissioning of all new machines/systems;
Acquire process and maintain a comprehensive dosimetric data base for use in the clinic;
Perform all aspects of external beam treatment planning;
Perform all brachytherapy applications and Ethos adaptive therapy procedures;
Perform all aspects of MR-LINAC adaptive therapy procedures such as preparing independently MR-LINAC based advanced treatment plans;
Ensure treatment planning hardware systems (Unix & PC printers scanners) availability and reliability;
Support commercial and in-house developed treatment planning software applications;
Work with physicists to design and develop treatment planning software tools for external beam therapy SRS & SRT brachy therapy etc.
Qualifications
Requirements: Masters degree or equivalent in medical physics from a CAMPEP-approved program. No experience required.
